The International Hearing Society has debuted a monthly podcast aimed at connecting hearing healthcare professionals with clinical insights, business strategies, and advocacy updates—with the inaugural episode featuring a conversation with a 30-year industry veteran. The International Hearing Society (IHS) has launched The Hearing Professional, a new monthly podcast designed to extend the organization's educational mission and serve as a resource for hearing healthcare professionals navigating an evolving industry landscape. The podcast debuted July 20 with an episode featuring Patrick Kochanowski, BS, BC-HIS, owner of KHIC, Inc, a Miracle-Ear franchise and past president of IHS. Kochanowski discusses his transition from employee to practice owner, the lessons he learned along the way, and the aspects of hearing care that have remained constant across his three decades in the field. The podcast is co-hosted by IHS president Michael Andreozzi, BS, BC-HIS, and IHS executive director Alissa Parady, CAE. Episodes are planned to cover clinical insights, business strategies for practice growth, technology trends, and advocacy issues facing the hearing healthcare profession. https://hearingreview.com/inside-hearing/events/ihs-2026-conference-to-focus-on-behavioral-science-for-practice-growth "As president of the International Hearing Society, I'm excited to help launch The Hearing Professional podcast as another way we connect, educate, and inspire our profession. I hope you'll join us on this journey by listening, subscribing, and sharing the podcast with your colleagues," says Andreozzi, in a release. Darwill Inc, a marketing solutions company that has served the hearing healthcare industry for more than 30 years, is sponsoring The Hearing Professional for the inaugural series running through the end of 2026. The company focuses on building integrated marketing solutions for hearing professionals. New episodes will be released monthly and are available on major podcast platforms.
