Unitron Hearing, Canada, is pleased to announce the addition of several professionals to its organization. Marlanges Simar has joined the company as marketing support coordinator. In addition to helping with marketing events, Simar will focus on assisting hearing care professionals grow their practice by delivering more effective marketing solutions.

In order to provide more individual attention to its customers, Unitron Hearing added several new individuals to its sales force. Henrik Nielsen is the new Western region sales manager. Joshua Fieldman was appointed regional sales representative for the Midwest region, serving Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and North and South Dakota. Jeff Vehr has joined the Unitron team as the regional sales representative for the Ohio Valley, which includes Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky.

The new regional sales representative for the Southwest region, encompassing Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina is Nikki DeGeorge, AuD. Jessica Loyd will manage the Mid-Atlantic region, which includes Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and the Washington D.C. area.

AG Bell
The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell) appointed Jane C. Lewicki as chief operating officer, and will oversee AG Bell’s operations and program functions including finance, membership, education, meetings, human resources, and information technology. Prior to joining AG Bell, Lewicki worked as the chief administrative officer for the National Breast Cancer Coalition. She also worked as the director of administration for the Public Education Network.

AG Bell named Corinne Abbott as chief development officer. Abbott will be responsible for leading strategic fund raising, marketing, and communication initiatives to provide information and resources for parents of children with hearing loss, adults who are deaf and hard of hearing, educators of the deaf, and clinicians in the hearing care field.

Natus Medical Inc
Doris Engibous and Mark D. Michael have joined the board of directors of Natus Medical Inc, San Carlos, Calif, bringing the number of members in the board of directors to seven. Engibous has 26 years of business experience in the medical device industry, including serving as president of Nellcor, Pleasanton, Calif, which reached worldwide sales of $750 million.

Michael was the chief legal officer at 3Com Corp, Marlborough, Mass, most recently serving as senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary. Michael was a member of 3Com’s executive committee from 1997-2003. During his 19-year tenure at 3Com, he assisted in the establishment of international operations in more than 40 countries.

Sonus, Plymouth, Minn, announced the following changes in their regional management team, as well as the geographic realignment of Sonus network territories: Stuart Johnson, sales manager for the Western half of the United States; Jordan Burch, Northwest regional manager; Mike Shear, manager of the new West central region; Brian Kelley, East central regional manager; Michael Filachek, MidAtlantic regional manager, Jill Schwankl, inside account executive; Damien Fogg, inside account executive; Samantha Lee, network administrator; Amy Anderson, sales analyst; Nancy Arnold, Sonus Network regional manager for Florida; and Jennifer Steidl, new member of the inside sales team.

 SeboTek Hearing Systems
Brian Hill, MS, MBA, has joined SeboTek Hearing Systems, Tulsa, Okla, as the international business development manager. In this role, Hill will focus on establishing distribution in selected markets, and providing training and marketing support worldwide for SeboTek’s PAC hearing systems. Hill brings more than 20 years of hearing health care experience, including clinical audiology, marketing for a hearing aid manufacturing company, and hearing aid dispensing in clinical, hospital, and retail settings.
